This week the Boy Scouts of American approved a plan to allow openly gay boys to be admitted. At this time, openly gay leaders will not be permitted. Of course, this is compromise and heartbreaking to many godly young boys who have been involved in this organization over the years.
The dairy industry is asking the FDA to allow them to add aspartame to milk. They are requesting that milk with added aspartame NOT have to be labeled. This seems like a minor thing; but many people are sensitive to this artificial sweetener. Also, if the government can control what is added to food and not tell the American people, this could cause problems later on. Anything could be added to (or taken out of) our food, and we would not know. They claim that the reason they would like to add this is that it supposedly will help fight childhood obesity. Apparently it is much better for children to have cancer or neurological disorders than to be overweight. ??? Another concerning things in the area of food is that there is a push being made to allow GMO (genetically modified) food to be on the market with no kind of labeling. Monsanto is the major organization pushing for GMO food. It is said that they are attempting to secure patents on common seed varieties. It has also been said that Nestle® is attempting to obtain a patent for fennel seeds. This is not just a national thing, but these would be worldwide patents. Shouldn't it be required that organizations should at least have to make the things they are attempting to secure patents for?
Not long ago there was an attempt made to pass stricter gun control legislation. Thankfully this legislation did not pass. There were a number of Republican Senators who voted for this legislation.

Lastly, there is some concern over a rumor that the government wants to require all American citizens to receive an implanted identification chip (or RFID). This was to take place on March 23, 2013. Some said that this was a scandal; others affirm that the plan was indeed in place. The new date for implementing this has been moved up to 2017. Some may still wonder if this plan is actually in place. Well, it would be hard to prove whether it is or not. However, here are a couple of things to consider very seriously. If such a plan is not in place, then why did the state of Wisconsin pass a law to ban the forced implants of identification chips in their state? http://www.computerworld.com/s/article/111542/Wisconsin_law_bars_forced_RFID_implants This legislation was passed back in June of 2006 – seven years ago.
In Georgia, a lady filed a law suit when a chip was implanted against her will, apparently while another medical procedure was being performed on her. http://www.newworldnews.com/news/category/new-world-order/chip-implants/
In the comments of another article that was written to debunk the mandatory implantation “theory,” a lady said that she also had a chip implanted against her will.
In Texas, a school tried to force its students to receive a “mandatory RFID chip.” One family refused.

Lest President Obama and his administration be blamed for the attempt to enforce the implantation of this chip, it is important to understand that the science behind it and the idea of using it goes all the way back to the 1960s. Also, plans for its widespread use have been in the making since 9/11. It is just that the time is now ripe to try to use it. This is not just a national thing but is also a global thing. More information about implantable, programmable chips can be found in an article written by the research organization, Life Extension. In a recent magazine, they carried an article about their time at the “Wireless Connectivity in Medical Devices” conference. The article is also online, and it can be read here - http://www.lef.org/magazine/mag2013/mar2013_Wireles-Connectivity-In-Medical-Devices-Conference_01.htm
