As Rabbi Carlos Parker said, God has promised to bless the nation that blesses Israel and to curse the nation that curses Israel. We have a chance to choose between a blessing and curse. Which one will America choose? As one ad on Facebook says, “Which America will you choose?”
The outcome of the election could have many implications for the lives of Americans and lives of many in other countries. It could significantly affect churches and missionaries as well.
One thing that is very important to remember is that President Obama is not responsible for the condition in which our country finds itself. The country has come to this condition by a series of wrong choices and our desire to be like the nations round about us and by our turning to the idols of easy living, pleasure, and wealth. (See I Samuel 8:5) God is able to take all that away from us in an instant. I only pray God will have mercy on our nation.
And, if God allows us to have four more years of freedom, let us not take this freedom for granted but use it to serve Him with all our hearts. Please pray earnestly about tomorrow and the years to come. May God have mercy on America!
