Some Day He’s Coming Back Again
1. Some day He’s coming back again,
My Savior, Lord, and King,
To take His chosen bride to Him;
What joy that day will bring!
He’ll take me to the mansion fair
That He prepared for me
My place within the Father’s house
My home eternally.
2. That blessed hope, that glorious word,
That Jesus is coming again,
We know it’s true; We have His word,
Although we don’t know when.
Our God and Savior Jesus Christ
Will late nor early be;
He’ll take us home to that blest place
Of good and purity.
3. Be patient, then; do not lose hope;
The Lord is coming back,
To gather in the ripened fruit
Not one piece shall He lack.
The harvest oh so precious is,
So we must establish our heart
And not grow weary in the work
But faithfully do our part.
4. Our Jesus will not tarry long
But quickly shall return;
To take His purchased bride away,
And for Him we do yearn.
Look, look, His coming draweth nigh,
When we shall go to Him,
In just a twinkling, we’ll be gone!
Even so, come, Amen.
