The passage for tonight’s thoughts on praying about the Corona Virus is Psalm 103:1-5, “Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. 2Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: 3Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; 4Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; 5Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.”
Bless – as an act of adoration, kneel down, praise, salute, thanks (See Strong’s Concordance)
All that is within me should bless the LORD and His holy name.
All that is within me should not forget the LORD’s benefits.
God forgives all our iniquities. Therefore we should confess our sins to Him.
God healeth all our diseases. Therefore we should cry to Him for our help. It is not a vaccine, a medicine, the doctors and nurses, quarantine, and so on, that heals from the Corona Virus. God may use some or all of these for His tools; but it is Almighty God Himself that does the healing. Let us then seek to Him for healing and cry for His mercy to stop the pestilence.
God redeems our life from destruction.
God crowns us with lovingkindness and mercies.
God supplies the food for our health and renews our health so that we feel young and strong again like an eagle.
Tonight’s focus will be to bless and praise and thank God; to cry for His help to heal and stop the Corona Virus; to seek His mercy; and to trust Him for deliverance and renewal of health and strength. God is the Healer. All honor and glory and praise are due Him.
