Whom do I trust among our politicians and representatives? At this point, nobody. It seems there are very few who are willing to take action on the basis of what is right and wrong. Instead, they seem to go by what will be most popular or what they think will have the least repercussions. They don’t seem to be there for our representation or to help guide and preserve our nation. They don’t have the nation’s or the people’s best interest in mind.
Which bills do I trust going through Congress? None of them. Right now it seems the bills we've heard about are crooked and twisted with agendas that have nothing to do with the welfare of our nation or of our people.
Whom do I trust to lead us as President? Neither of the current candidates. Both of them scare me. Both seem to represent an agenda rather than a purpose to lead and care for our country. I may be wrong, but at this point, I do not trust either of them.
So whom do I trust? There is only One in whom I can put my hope. That is the mighty Lord God, the only One in whom is found mercy and help in time of trouble. “22) It is of the LORD's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. 23) They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. 24) The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him.” (Lamentations 3:22-24)
