Whom should we love?
Friends. We should love our friends. Proverbs 17:17 says, "A friend loveth at all times, and a brother is born for adversity."
A friend loveth at all times -- when things are going well and when things are difficult. We should love our friends when we have great times together. We should love our friends when they are walking with the Lord. We should love our friends if they go astray. We should love our friends even when they hurt us. We should love our friends when they are in difficulty. That is when they need our friendship the most. We should love our friends at _all_ times. O, Lord, help me to love!
"A brother is born for adversity." That does not mean that a brother is born to cause adversity. That means a brother is to lift up the other in times of adversity. "9Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. 10For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up." (Ecclesiastes 4:9,10)
How can we love our friends today? How can we lift another up?
